IMPORTANT WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is supplied with a fitted plug; however, for
your information, should you wish to change the plug, the
wires in the mains lead of the appliance are colored in
accordance with the following code:
Green and yellow:
Blue:
Brown:
Warning: The severed plug should be disposed of to avoid
a possible shock hazard and should never be inserted into
a 3A socket . As the colors of the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond to the colored markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
the wire that is colored Green and yellow must be connect-
ed to the terminal in the plug that is marked with the letter
e or by the earth symbol
yellow . The wire that is colored Blue must be connected to
the terminal that is marked with the letter N or colored Black
or Blue . The wire that is colored Brown must be connected
to the terminal that is marked with the letter l, or colored
Red or Brown .
Note: If the terminals of the plug are unmarked or if you are
in any doubt, consult a qualified electrician . If a BS563
fused Plug is used, it must be fitted with the correct
amperage fuse – 3-amp fuse .
IMPORTANT: HOT BLENDING
INSTRUCTIONS
To minimize the possibility of scalding when blending hot
ingredients, the following precautions and procedures must
be observed:
. limit amount of material processed to one cup (8 oz .)
(0 .236 liters) .
2 . Completely remove the lid insert of the two piece
container lid before starting motor . (This will allow
venting of the rapidly heated and expanding air
present inside container when blender is running .)
3 . Start blending on low speed .
