Your LaCie device is formatted as HFS+ for Mac. Also, the dual disks are configured for
optimal performance using RAID 0. You can change the configuration to RAID 1, which
protects data in case one disk fails. Use LaCie RAID Manager to make changes to the RAID.
For further information about your device, see www.lacie.com/2big-dock-guide.
To learn more about RAID and how to use LaCie RAID Manager, see
www.lacie.com/lrm-guide.
Windows: When first connecting the device, the disks must be configured and
formatted since Windows does not support HFS+. You must use LaCie RAID
Manager to delete the current RAID array and create a new one. Once you've
Windows
created the new array, you will need to partition and format it. Please see the
partitioning and formatting guide of your user manual: www.lacie.com/
2big-dock-guide.
The 2big Dock Thunderbolt 3 is compatible with Windows PC. If you choose to
connect your device using the Thunderbolt 3 port, the computer needs to meet
the following requirements:
• Operating System: Windows 10 or higher
• Windows PC that supports Thunderbolt 3
Note: Make sure to use the Thunderbolt 3 cable included with your device.
If the 2big Dock doesn't mount or is not detected on your computer when
connecting the drive with Thunderbolt 3, please go to www.lacie.com/
support/2bigDockTBT3 and download and install the 2big Dock
Thunderbolt 3 Driver for Windows.
If you're still experiencing connectivity issues between your device and your
Windows PC, check with the computer manufacturer for updates to BIOS,
Thunderbolt 3 firmware, or Thunderbolt 3 drivers. For additional information,
see your user manual: www.lacie.com/2big-dock-guide.
