Safety Guidelines
This manual contains information that is very
important to know and understand. This
information is provided for SAFETY. To help
recognize this information, observe the
following symbol.
Warning indicates a
potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, COULD result in dath or serious
injury.
Mask for Harmful Dust
IMPORTANT:
Fitting instructions are to
be followed each time the
mask is worn.
1. Hold the mask in the
palm of your hand with the
headband hanging freely
below your hand.
2. Place the mask under
your chin and against the
bridge of your nose.
3. Pull the bottom strap
high on the back of your
head above your ears. Pull
the top headband over your
head.
4. Test the fi t. Cup both
hands over the mask and
exhale vigorously. If air fl ows
around your nose piece; if air
leaks around the edges,
reposition the straps to fi t
better.

Protection Kit
1. To protect your life and health and prevent
serious injury or death, respiratory protection
must be carefully selected. Industrial
Hygienists, Occupational Safety Professionals,
and Occupational Physicians are among those
professionals who may be consulted to be
sure that you are wearing the proper mask for
the protection needed.
2. Do not use for protection against asbestos,
gases, vapors or spray painting.
3. Leave area immediately if:
(a) breathing becomes difficult
(b) dizziness or other distress occurs
(c) you can taste or smell contaminants
(d) you experience nose or throat
irriation.
4. This mask does not supply oxygen. Use only
in adequately ventilated areas containing
sufficient oxygen to support life.
5. Do not use where concentrations of
contaminates are unknown or immediately
dangerous to life and health.
6. Do not use this mask if a good face seal can
not be maintained. People with certain
physical characteristics, such as facial hear or
deformities, may not be able to maintain a
tight face seal. An unsatifactory face seal may
result in leakage which dangerously reduces
protection.
7. Dispose of used mask in a safe manner
consistent with good industrial hygiene
practices and local, state and federal
regulations.
8. If the user has any illness or disorders,
consult a liscensed medical physician to
determine suitability for use.
