In case of ignition failure the ballast will try this operation 5x and after this stop
working. You have to start the ballast manually again. Once the bulb started it
needs 3-5minutes to get hot and shine on his full power. In case the ballast can
not start the bulb contact our support team using the live support on
http://www.g-systems.eu/
Stop the ballast
You can stop the ballast manually with the
1. OFF-Standby button, or disconnecting the power on the main cable. The
ballast stors your settings for about 72h and starts next time with the last
settings. After 72h disconected or OFF the ballast loses the settings and you
have to start it manually again.
Dim the bulb
You can dim a bulb only downwards, for example:
600W dim to 250W ;
400W dim to 250W ;
250W is not dimmable
A 600W bulb can run on overdrive which is 10% more output power to
the bulb. (We do not recommend it cause it damages the bulb).
GSE don't recommend to dim any kind of bulbs because the light colour
changes). For dimming push short to 2. Up / down button it steps at
once from 3. LED overdriver to 4. LED 600W mode to 5. LED 400W
mode and 6. LED 250W mode. The ballast needs up to 2minute time to
dim the bulb can cool down his self. When you push the 2. Up / down
button and hold it the ballast dim variable. The LED are indicating the
the value. Between 600W and 500W the 4. LED 600W mode shine and
the 5. LED 400W mode is blinking, between 500W and 400W the 5.
LED 400W mode shine and the 4. LED 600W mode is blinking. The
same functions you have between 400W and 250W. The ballast
remembers thesettings at the next start, the ballast lose the settings
after 72h disconnected or switch OFF you have to start manually again.
Safety instruction
The electronic ballast must be connected into a common household plug
which has a 10A, 13A or 16A safety breaker. To avoid injury, disconnect the power
cable before opening. The ballast have 2fuse inside, in case of total
