PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
BLADE INSTALLATION
Disconnect the power tool from power supply.
Installation and removal of the blade is toolless.
• Turn the ring of the blade holder (2) and slide the blade into the holder
until it stops (fig. A).
• Release the ring of the blade holder (2) (the ring will return to the
default position).
• Pull the blade lightly to make sure it is properly fixed.
If the ring of the blade holder does not return to the default
position, turn the ring manually.
FOOTPLATE ADJUSTMENT
Disconnect the power tool from power supply.
• Loosen the footplate fixing screws (6).
• Set the footplate (7) to required distance (fig. B).
• Tighten the footplate fixing screws (6).
OPERATION / SETTINGS
SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING OFF
The mains voltage must match the voltage on the rating plate of
the saw.
Switching on – press the switch button (5).
Switching off – release pressure on the switch (5).
Locking the switch (continuous operation)
Switching on:
• Press the switch button (5) and hold in this position.
• Press the switch lock button (4) (fig. E).
• Release pressure on the switch button (5).
Switching off:
• Press and release the switch button (5).
OPERATION SPEED ADJUSTMENT
Working speed is controlled with pressure on the switch button (5).
CUTTING
• Put front part of the footplate (7) flat on the material that you plan
to cut (fig. F).
• Start the saw and adjust working speed to properties of processed
material.
• Move the saw slowly and guide the blade along previously set cutting
line (fig. G).
Cut at a steady rate, be careful not to overload the saw. Excessive pressure
applied on the blade will suppress operation and will affect cutting
efficiency unfavourably.
During operation whole surface of the footplate should contact
surface of the processed material.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the power cord from the mains socket before commencing
any activities related to installation, adjustment, repair or
maintenance.
