PREPARATION
* Remove the vehicle's rear bumper.
* Remove the bumper brackets.
* Remove the tow bar fastenings except the head marked (check its torque).
* Make a cut at the bottom center of the bumper (Fig.1).
ASSEMBLY
* Position and fasten the tow bar in the bumper at the same fixing
point V as the old brackets with fastening kit V and tighten the
nuts, bolts and screws to the torque indicated below.
* Inside the boot :
° Remove the tape blocking the 2 end holes marked Y
opening into the longitudinals.
° Remove the tape blocking the holes marked W on the rear plate of the vehicle.
* Fit the "tow bar + bumper" unit into the vehicle's longitudinals.
* Inside the boot, position the strengthening pieces (marked B and C).
* Fasten the tow bar to the points marked W using fastening kit W.
*Fasten the tow bar to the points marked X using the existing
fastenings and to the points marked Y using fastening kit Y.
* Fasten the electrical plus support to the points marked U using fastening kit U.
FINISHING
* Tighten all of the nuts, bolts and screws to the torques indicated below.
