Always wear your helmet low in the front to protect the forehead (fig.1). Never wear the helmet tipped back to
expose your forehead (fig.2).
To adjust the straps:
Open the buckle (fig.3).
Slide the straps through the lateral strap adjustment to obtain the correct position (fig.4) .
Make sure there is no slack in any of the straps.
Close and lock the lateral strap adjustments.
Make sure that the straps do not cover the ears.
Always wear the helmet with the chin strap buckle fastened and the strap pulled tight.
Make sure the strap is well back against the throat and under the chin (not on the point of the chin) (fig.5).
Excess strap should be secured in the rubber strap ring (fig.6).
Turn the dial clockwise to a comfortable snug fit (fig.7).
To loosen, turn the dial counterclockwise (fig.8) .
This rear support system is equipped with a height adjustment mechanism with 3 positions.
Choose the more comfortable for you (fig.9).
Some helmets come with removable visors.
To replace the visor, center it on the helmet and then snap the pins on the visor into the holes in the helmet
(fig.10).
To remove visors, use the plugs which are provided.
CAUTION: DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE THE VISOR BY PULLING DIRECTLY FORWARD. THIS WILL
DAMAGE THE HELMET AND THE VISOR.
Before using the helmet, make sure it fits correctly, the straps are well adjusted, and the chin strap is tight
enough. Put the helmet on in the correct position (refer to instruction 1).
Fasten the chin strap and pull it tight. Stand in front of the mirror.
- Check the fit. Grab the helmet with both hands and try to turn it from right to left. If the helmet fits correctly,
it should resist. If it does not, the helmet is too loose.
- Check the straps. Grab the helmet with both hands and try to remove it by rolling the helmet forward and
backward as far as you can.
If you can roll it forward so far that it blocks your vision, or backward far enough to expose the forehead it
doesn't fit correctly (fig.1).
Clean only with mild soap and water.
