Any Pit Boss® unit will give you many years of use with minimum cleaning. Follow these cleaning
and maintenance tips to service your Fire Pit and extend its lifetime:

BURNER COMPONENTS

• It is recommended to empty the Burner and Ash Pan after every few uses. This will
avoid any hard build-up of debris or ash in the bottom. When cool and all fuel has
burned completely, lift the Burner Shell off the Ash Pan to dispose of ashes.
• With regular use, the bottom of the Burner may discolor. This is a normal occurence
and should not be considered a defect of the product.
EXTERIOR

• Wipe the Burner Shell and Wind Break down as needed. Ensure the Fire Pit is
completely cool prior to cleaning.
• A cover is your best protection against weather and outside pollutants. When not in
use or for longterm storage, keep the unit under a cover in a garage or shed.
