The EXOS Oven is 100% RoHS compliant! RoHS stands
for "the Restriction
Of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment". The RoHS
Directive took effect on July 1, 2006, and it bans the placing on the
European market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more
than the allowed levels of 6 types of potentially harmful heavy metals and chemicals
including lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated
biphenyl (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.
