The socket must be placed in such a way that, when installing the water heater, the plug is accessible. A
ground connection must be provided in all electrical installations. To facilitate that connection, the plug
(pin) is provided with the appropriate contact. Therefore, it is enough that the base of the plug is the
corresponding to the one supplied with the device.
It must be verified that the electrical installation of the premises or dwelling is equipped with the "EARTH"
wire. This device complies with the regulations on radio interference and interferences.
NOTE: All manipulation and replacement of parts (including the cable) is strictly prohibited, unless an
Official Rointe Service Engineer carries it out.

5. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been given
instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. The product
is not a toy, children should not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried
out by children without supervision. Children must be supervised at all times to ensure that they do not
interfere with the product.

6. USE (PUTTING INTO OPERATION)

Filling - Once the water heater is installed, open the stopcock. Open the hot water faucets. When water starts
to come, the water heater is full. Then close the outlet taps and make sure there are no leaks in the installation.
Do not connect the water heater to the electrical network without being sure that it is full of water.
Electrical connection - Plug in the mains and activate the main switch so that the appliance is live. When a
certain amount of hot water is used, the thermostat reconnects to the heating element.
Water temperature adjustment - Internal regulation system, factory set temperature 70ºC.
Emptying - In case of prolonged use, and if there is a risk of frost in the room where it is installed, it is mandatory
to empty the water heater. This can be done by draining via the safety valve.
In any case:
• Cut the current.
• Close the water inlet tap in the Installation.
• Open the hot water tap.

7. MAINTENANCE

Servicing and maintenance must only be carried out by a competent unvented hot water product installer
or by Rointe authorised personnel, at least once per year. Before any work whatsoever is carried out on the
installation, it MUST first be isolated from the mains electricity supply. Only use spare parts authorised by
Rointe. The use of other parts will invalidate the warranty.
Drain the cylinder – When draining the cylinder, always switch off the product. Turn off the water supply at
