When this happens, the following actions may occur:
• The GoPro App disconnects, but video capture continues for as long as
possible until the camera is powered off (if used, the GoPro remote control
remains connected)
• The camera powers off (the GoPro App disconnects, the camera stops
recording and saves your video, and the temperature icon appears)
To control your camera remotely at higher temperatures, use the GoPro
remote control instead of the GoPro App.
If your camera becomes too hot and automatically powers off, let it sit and cool
before attempting to use it again. For extended recording time, limit your use
of features that increase power consumption such as the GoPro App or the LCD
Touch BacPac accessory.
NOTICES
Avoid exposing your camera and battery to very cold or very hot temperatures.
Low or high temperature conditions may temporarily shorten the battery life
or cause the camera to temporarily stop working properly. Avoid dramatic
changes in temperature or humidity when using the camera, as condensation
may form on or within the camera.
Abide by all local laws when using this camera. There may be laws in your
jurisdiction related to the use of the camera in a particular way. Some
jurisdictions prohibit the use of a video camera as an attachment to certain
equipment, such as a firearm, or in a particular manner, such as the use of the
camera as an invasion of privacy.
