MAXIMIZING BATTERY LIFE

To maximize battery life, close the GoPro App. To maximize battery life
when shooting longer-duration activities, turn off the touch display.
Extreme cold temperatures can decrease battery life. To maximize
battery life in cold conditions, keep the camera in a warm place prior
to use. Shooting at higher frame rates and resolutions, and shooting
with Protune turned on, increase power consumption.
PRO TIP: QuikCapture helps maximize battery life. For details, see
QuikCapture in Setup Mode.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
The battery icon that appears on the camera displays blinks when the
battery drops below 10%. If the battery reaches 0% while recording,
the camera saves the file and powers off.
