CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
· Ensure that the fan is
disconnected from the mains
supply before removing the
protective cover.
· Clean the plastic parts such as
the blades, body, grille and rear
protection· They must be cleaned
with a damp cloth and dried.
Do not use abrasive products
or solvents.
· Do not submerge it in any sort of
liquid or in water.
MAINTENANCE
To prevent any risks, maintenance
must be carried out by a technical
representative or similarly-
qualified personnel.
The casing of the motor shaft
must be lubricated once or twice
a year:
· Remove the rear protection by
loosening the screws.
· Then remove the blade,
unlocking the blade nut.
· Apply a few drops of
lubricating oil for machines to the
motor shaft.
· Refit the fan and ensure that
all of the screws and nuts
are tightened.
Should the fan not be used for a
long period of time, it must be
protected from dust and stored in
a clean dry place.
