6.6 Additional safety information:

Always wear protective goggles.
Use elastic layer pads if provided with the grinding medium and if required.
Observe the specifications of the tool or accessory manufacturer!
Accessories must be carefully stored and handled according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
Make sure that accessories are attached according to the manufacturer's instructions.
The accessory continues to run after the machine is switched off.
Always use a protective cover while grinding and working with the fleece polishing pad.
Do not use any separate reducing bushings or adapters in order to make accessories
with a larger mounting hole fit.
The workpiece must be firmly seated and secured against slipping, e.g. using clamping
devices. Large workpieces must be adequately supported.
If using accessories with a threaded insert, the end of the spindle must not touch the bot-
tom of the mounting hole on the grinding tool. Make sure that the thread in the accessory
enough to take the complete length of the spindle.
The thread in the accessory must match the thread of the spindle.
For spindle length and thread, see chapter 1. Technical data.
Do not use damaged, non-circular or vibrating accessories.
The additional handle must be replaced if damaged or torn. Do not operate the machine
if the additional handle is defective.
Always work with the protective cover attached.
Always hold the machine with both hands by the handles provided.
6.7 Special safety information for mains-powered machines:
Remove the plug from the socket before performing any adjustment, modification,
maintenance or cleaning work.
Make sure that the machine is switched off when plugging it in to the power supply.
Use of a stationary extraction unit is recommended. Always use a ground-fault circuit
interrupter (RCD) with a maximum release current of 30 mA. The electric tool must be
checked and cleaned after it is switched off by the ground-fault circuit interrupter. See
chapter 12. Maintenance.

6.8 Reducing dust exposure:

Particles created while working with this machine can contain substances that
cause cancer, allergic reactions, respiratory disease, birth defects or other reproduc-
tive harm. Examples of such substances include: lead (in leaded paint), mineral dust
(from bricks, concrete, etc.), wood treatment additives (chromate, wood preservatives),
various wood types (such as oak or beech dust), metal and asbestos. The risk depends on
how long the user or other person in the proximity is exposed to the dust.
Do not allow particles to enter the body.
