● Go to the menu "Main menu/Configuration/
Controller/Peripherals/Network".
● Check or change the controller IP address.
● Go to the menu "Main menu/Configuration/
Tightening unit/BT parameters/Network
parameters".
● Enter the communication port.
● Refer to the CVI3 Vision user
manual at http://resource-center.
desouttertools.com.
TOOL POWER SAVING MODE
Tool display After 2 minutes, the wireless
standby
battery tool display switches
off.
Follow [ I ] (page 11) to switch
on display.
Communication The wireless battery tool
standby communication with the
controller goes down.
Default value is 5 minutes.
Time value settable using
CVIConfig software.
Press trigger or follow [ J ]
(page 11) to restart tool.
Power off
25 minutes later, the wireless
battery tool powers off.
Follow [ J ] (page 11) to restart
tool.

OPERATING MODE

When the tool is powered on, the Desoutter logo
is displayed and the LEDs are blinking.
● Wait for a few seconds while the software is
being initialized.
● Refer to the user manual 6159921030 at
http://resource-center.desouttertools.com to
learn how to set up and use the functionalities
of the software embedded in the tool.
The setup will mainly depend on the joint
hardness and the targeted accuracy.
A pulse tightening is based on a single step
including:
- a Run down speed phase (continuous)
- a Final speed phase (pulse)
The Run down speed phase has an impact on
the first peak amplitude.
The pulse amplitude defines the pulse power. It
has an impact on the torque step between two
consecutive pulses.
