Intended use

Your Black & Decker kitchen scrubber has been designed for
cleaning and scraping dishes and kitchen surfaces.
This product is intended for household use only.

Safety instructions

Warning! When using battery-powered appliances, basic

be followed to reduce the risk of fire, leaking batteries,
personal injury and material damage.
Read all of this manual carefully before using the appliance.

Using your appliance
This appliance is not intended for use by young or infirm

The appliance is not to be used as a toy.

After use
When not in use, the appliance should be stored indoors,

in a dry place. Children should not have access to stored
appliances.
Inspection and repairs
Before use, check the appliance for damaged or defective

parts. Check for breakage of parts, damage to switches
and any other conditions that may affect its operation.
Do not use the appliance if any part is damaged or defective.

Have any damaged or defective parts repaired or replaced

by an authorised repair agent.
Never attempt to remove or replace any parts other than

those specified in this manual.
Additional safety instructions for non-rechargeable
batteries
Never attempt to open for any reason.

Do not store in locations where the temperature may

exceed 40 °C.
When disposing of batteries, follow the instructions given

in the section "Protecting the environment".
Do not incinerate the batteries.
Under extreme conditions, battery leakage may occur.

When you notice liquid on the batteries, proceed as follows:
- Carefully wipe the liquid off using a cloth.

5. Heavy scrub pad (green): for aggressive scrubbing of pots,
pans, sinks and other kitchen surfaces
6. Mild scrub pad (white): for milder scrubbing of non-stick
surfaces
7. Bristle brush (blue): for scrubbing of pots, pans, sinks and
other kitchen surfaces
Other accessories are available from your Black & Decker dealer:
8. Glass brush: for cleaning tall narrow glasses, coffee
carafes, blender jars, etc.
9. Spare set of scrub pads
Assembly
Warning! Before assembly, switch off the tool.
Installing the batteries (fig. B)
Warning! Use AA size batteries only. Use alkaline batteries only.
Remove the battery holder (4) by pulling the ring (10).

Insert the batteries into the holder in the orientation as
N
shown.
Replace the battery holder.

Fitting and removing an accessory (fig. C)
Fitting
Align the mounting end of the accessory with the shaft on
N
the accessory holder.
Push the accessory onto the shaft until it snaps into place.
N
Removing
Pull the accessory from the accessory holder.
N
Use
Switching on and off (fig. A)
To switch the appliance on, press the on/off switch (1).
N
To switch the appliance off, press the on/off switch again.
N
Hints for optimum use
The appliance can be used with a variety of cleaning agents,
including sprays, foams, rub-on gels, liquid detergents and
bleach solutions. Always read and follow the manufacturer's
instructions on the cleaning agent you use. Do not use the
appliance with abrasive cleaning agents.
