Product brief introduction
Thanks for your purchasing SVBONY's telescope! The telescope USES high-quality and environ-
mental materials to ensure safety and stability. It is quite suitable for children who have just come
into contact with astronomy, and can also be used as holiday gifts for children from elders, with high
cost performance. The compact and portable design of the telescope makes it ideal for use by chil-
dren for ground-level views and occasional astronomical observations.
Notifications and warnings
1. Do not look directly at the sun with naked eyes or through a telescope. This may cause permane-
nt and irreversible damage to your eyes. You should never use a telescope to project sunlight
onto a surface. Heat accumulated internally can damage the telescope or its accessories.
2. The telescope should never be left unattended or left to children and adults unfamiliar with proper
procedures.

3. Zenith mirror and eyepiece installation
You need to look through an eyepiece when using an astronomical telescope(Standard 1.25-inch
K20mm eyepiece)
The zenith mirror can deflect the telescope's light path. It is an erecting prism, which can make the
image are positive with a view of up, down, right and left, convenient for observing the earth. The
zenith mirror can be rotated to any angle you wish. The steps to install the zenith mirror are as
follows:
a. Loosen the locking screw on the eyepiece
of the focusing seat so that it does not
enter the inner cylinder. Insert the zenith
mirror into the socket and tighten the
locking screw.
b. Loosen the locking screw on the eyepiece

4. Installation of star finder
a. Find the location of the star finder.
b. Remove knurled nut from screw post on mirror cylinder.

d. Note the orientation of the star finder. The thick end is aligned with the objective of the primary
mirror.
e. Remove the caps at both ends of the star finder.
5. Steps for calibrating star finder:
a. Find a target during the day and place it in
the center of the eyepiece's field of view.
b. Find the same target in the star finder field.
c. Do not move the primary mirror. Adjust the
calibration screw on the star finder bracket
until the target is placed at the intersection
of the cross hairs in the star finder.
d. If the star finder image is out of focus, rotate
the eyepiece of the star finder until the image
is clear.
e. Note: the star finder image is upside down.
Telescope use
When you look at an object, turn the focusing
wheel until the image is clear. Rotate the
focusing wheel in the direction of the eye when
observing an object closer to the current target.
When looking at a more distant object, turn the
focusing wheel in the opposite direction. For
sharp and clear images, do not observe from
the window.
Telescope maintenance
1. Sometimes dust and moisture will stick to the objective lens of the telescope. Special care should
be taken in cleaning any components of the telescope to prevent damage to the optical
components.
2. If the dust sticks to the optical device, remove the dust with a brush or balloon, then use an
optical cleaner and a white paper towel to remove the remaining dust. Spray the cleanser on a
paper towel, then wipe the lens with a paper towel, gently wiping from the center of the lens to
the periphery. During observation, the lens of your telescope may stick to dew. If you want to
continue your observations, you must remove the dew, use a hair dryer or point the telescope at
the ground until it evaporates.
3. If moisture condenses inside the cylinder, remove all attachments from the telescope.Place the
viewing area in a dust-free environment and place it face down. This removes moisture from the
telescope tube.
4. To reduce the frequency you need to clean your telescope, please cover all lens caps after you
use them. Since the components are not sealed, cover the openings when not using the
telescope. This prevents contaminants from entering the telescope.
