• Button (12): gives you direct access to the index page
(often corresponding to page 100) or the MENU page with
the subjects.

If the page looks like the one in the picture, it means that
the Teletext broadcast is not standard and does not even
broadcast the MENU. In this case, press button (12) again
to exit the menu function.

** NO INDEX **
• Button (16): this button stops on a page on the video. In
some cases the information can be contained in groups of
more than one page that scroll automatically during vision.
If you want to stop on a page, press this button (16). On
the upper left part of the page, the word "STOP" will be
displayed instead of the page number. To unlock the page,
press button (16) again.
• Button (18): In some cases it may take a while for a page
to be displayed. If in the meantime you want to watch a TV
programme, press this button (18). As soon as the desired
page is reached, the number will appear on the screen. To
view it, press button (18) again.
Note: while waiting, the TV remains in the Teletext function
therefore it will be possible to change the pages but not
the TV programmes using the numerical buttons.

IMPORTANT: When in the MENU mode (e.g. AUDIO,
IMAGE, OTHER FUNCTIONS menu), if button (18) is
pressed, only the function highlighted by the cursor is dis-
played. This has no effect if done from the SUMMARY
menu.
• Button (19): besides offering information, news, etc, the
Teletext offers pages with games and riddles as well. By
pressing button (19) on one of these pages, the solution is
displayed. To eliminate the solution, press button (19)
again.
MODELS WITH CHILD LOCK
OPTION
After programme storage/memorisation and TV configura-
tion, these models have a PROTECTION function that, if acti-
vated, prevents modification of the already set adjustments.
The CHILD LOCK thus prevents any accidental modification.
In addition, it is possible to make some previously stored pro-
grammes inaccessible.
Protection is activated and deactivated through a code that
can be selected.
HOW TO SET THE ACCESS CODE
1. Enter the menu of the second Carousel by keeping MENU
button (8) pressed for at least 2 sec.
2. Enter the CONFIGURATION menu by pressing MENU but-
ton 8 twice.
3. The screen displays the CONFIGURATION menu with the
CURSOR on the CODE entry. (the code 1 2 3 is pre-set in
the factory).
