USE
1. Insert the vehicle DC power cord into the
accessory socket of your vehicle or other 12
volt DC power source.
2. To turn on the spotlight slide the power switch
to the on position (up).
3. To turn off the spotlight slide the power switch
to the off position (down).
Note:
When using a vehicle's 12 volt DC accessory outlet as a
power source, be aware that some vehicles require you
to turn on the ignition to power the accessory outlet.
Warning: To avoid the risk of property damage:
• Never connect the unit to a positive grounded
vehicle.
• The DC Vehicle DC Power cord must only be
connected to batteries with a nominal output
voltage of 12 volts. The unit will not operate
from a 6 volt battery and will sustain permanent
damage if connected to a 24 volt battery.
Caution! Do not operate the spotlight without
the original rubber ring guard and lens in place
over the bulb assembly.
MAINTENANCE
Your Black & Decker tool has been designed to
operate over a long period of time with a minimum
of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation
depends upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.
Warning! Before performing any maintenance or
cleaning of the tool, unplug the unit from the power
supply.
• From time to time wipe the appliance with a damp
cloth. Do not use any abrasive or solvent-based
cleaner. Do not immerse the appliance in water.
Replacing the fuse in the vehicle dc
power cord
If the spotlight does not turn on, the internal 12 amp
fuse may be open (blown).
1. Unscrew the flange of the DC plug
(counterclockwise).
2. Remove the end contact, flange and fuse.
3. Inspect the fuse to see if it is good or blown.
4. Replace with a new 12A/250V amp fuse, if
needed.
5. Carefully reassemble the fuse, end contact
and flange. Do not overtighten the flange
(clockwise).

this unit for 2 years from the date of purchase
against defective workmanship or material. It is
the obligation of the purchaser to forward the unit
together with proof of purchase to the manufacturer
or its representative with transportation cost
prepaid. This warranty is void if the unit is abused,
handled carelessly or repaired by anyone other
than manufacturer or its authorized representative.
Manufacturer makes no warranty other than this
limited warranty and expressly excludes any implied
warranty including any warranty for consequential
damages. This is the only expressed limited
warranty and manufacturer neither assumes nor
authorizes anyone to assume or make any other
obligation towards the product other than this limited
warranty.
