SERVICE KIT INSTRUCTIONS
PURPOSE:
Use this kit to replace the vacuum breaker in your faucet.
INSTALLATION:
1. Turn off the water supply and lift the handle to relieve the
water pressure.
2. Refer to the handle styles below and disassemble the
handle as shown for your faucet style.
3. Turn the bonnet counterclockwise and remove. Mark the
limit stop and valve to ensure correct realignment. Slide
the limit stop off the valve spline.
4. Turn the mounting nut counterclockwise to remove. Lift
the valve and existing vacuum breaker out of the faucet
body. Discard the vacuum breaker.
5. Study the illustrations below to assemble your new
vacuum breaker. Based on your handle style, the vacuum
breaker may have O-rings or it may have two check
valves, a retainer and a seal to assemble.

6. Fit the replacement vacuum breaker in the faucet body.
7. Re-install the valve and securely wrench tighten the
mounting nut.
8. Press the limit stop on the valve spline so it is in the same
orientation as before, and securely hand tighten the
bonnet.
9. Re-install the handle. Turn on the water supply, and
check for leakage and proper operation.
