INSTALLING THE PLATFoRM
- Remove from the platform the two side brackets by
removing the four screws F.
- Install the conductive rubber insert into the platform
guide, and replace the side brackets by tightening the
four screws F.
- Respecting the distances shown in Figure B dig the
platform bed (Minimum dimensions of the excavation:
1800x210x290 mm) and prepare the corrugated tubing
coming from the junction box, required for connection of
the platform and the photocell DIR TX ❷ G.
 The number of tubes depends on the type of system
installed and any accessories.
- Insert two metal rods inside the trench to reinforce the
concrete G.
 The rod should be as long as the excavation and shall
be positioned at half of the depth.
- Fill the hole with concrete * and immerse the platform,
making sure that the corrugated tubes are not filled with
concrete G. Route the cables of the platform in the
corrugated tube H.
- The platform must be perfectly flat and at the same level
of the road surface.
- Complete adding filler concrete around the platform J.
- Wait for everything to solidify for at least 24 hours.
*TECHNICAL FEATURES oF THE CoNCRETE
The concrete must be resistant to plastic deformation
with slumping of the Abrams cone between 4 and 7 cm
(for a conical mould that is 30 cm high, with a diameter of
10 cm at the top and 20 cm in the lower part) and whose
filling must be realized in four layers.
BINDERS: use Portland cement without artificial
constituents of type CPA 325.
AGGREGATES: calibre 10/20 and consist of limestone or
silica free from salts and clays.
DOSAGE: 350 kg / m³.

⚠ The two bollards and the platform should be mounted
on the same horizontal axis B.
- Make the excavation.
- Insert and tighten the screws and washers on base
mount L.
- Remove the precast brackets with a screwdriver or
pliers M.
- Prepare a counterframe that is larger than the mounting
plate and place it in the hole N.
- Fill the counterframe with concrete O.
- Immerse the brackets into concrete, making sure that
the corrugated cable tube passes through the hole P.
- Wait until the concrete sets for at least 24 hours Q.
Remove the counterframe and fill the hole around the
block of cement S.
- Remove the nuts and washers from the screws. The
plate must be clean, perfectly flat and with the threads of
the screws completely exposed T.
- Insert the wires into the tube U.
- Mount the bollard to the base with the 4 screws provided V.
- Mount the bollard to the base with the washers and nuts
provided W.
- Remove the cover X.
- Use the four screws to fix the base of the DIR photocell
onto pierced bracket to the desired height, taking into
account that the height of the photocell beam must be
at 1300 mm (± 150 mm according to the requirements)
from the level of the road surface X.
- Connect the photocell with the cables inside the column.
- Secure the photocell cover with the screw X.
- Insert the DIR photocell and bracket into the bollar
groove all the way down X.
- Replace the cover and secure the slide to the bollard
with the two screws X.
- After having made all electrical connections C fix the
base to the relative track inside the entrance unit Y, and
connect the analogue interface Z.
SETTING AND CoNNECTING LooP S2 To THE
ENTRANCE MoDULE
Parameter 0 channel 1 = 3 , "Current Idle Mode".
Parameter 0 channel 2 = 3 , "Current Idle Mode".
For setting up and connecting the loop S2, refer to the
installation manual of the system PS ONE.
Decommissioning and disposal - Before proceeding, it is always
advisable to check specific regulations in force in the place of
disposal. Packaging components (cardboard, plastic etc.) can be
disposed of together with normal household waste without any
difficulty, by simply separating the different types of waste and
recycling them. Other components (circuit boards, remote control
batteries, etc.), on the other hand, may contain pollutants. They
should therefore be removed and handed over to companies
authorised to recover and recycle them.
