2. INSTALLATION
Fig. #3. Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other
sealant around the underside of spout according to the
putty manufacturer's instructions. Insert faucet lead
wire and faucet shank through hole in lavatory. Do not
pinch or kink lead.
Fig. #4. From underside, run plastic spacer (with flat
surface against lavatory) up faucet lead wire and onto
spout shank, fitting the faucet lead wire into one of three
spacer notches. Place the fluted washer and locknut
over spacer.
NOTE: Do not run faucet lead wire through center of
washer and locknut. Do not rotate faucet while installing
attachment hardware.
Tighten locknut.
Fig. #5. For wide escutcheon models: Place toggle
bars over posts and secure posts with nuts.
