• Direct - ISDN calls can be made directly to the extension number from another PBX that is
connected directly. In this example, all incoming calls are forwarded to the extension called.
• MSN (Multiple Subscriber Number) - ISDN BRI (TE mode) application only. In this example,
two X6004s are connected to a single BRI line to one ITSP. Each X6004 has a unique
MSN. These MSNs must correspond to those configured on the connected ITSP's ISDN
device. The device A's auto-attendant system only answers the call dialing to 555-123456
that matches what the device A configured.

You should define the same MSN number in the connected ISDN BRI
interfaces. Otherwise, you cannot receive any calls.
By default, the BRI interface is in NT (Network Termination) mode. To use
MSN for outbound group, you must change it to TE (Terminal Equipment)
mode in the PBX > Server Configuration > SIP Server > BRI screen.
