From the closed position, grab
the end of the soft close/ swivel
mechanism and pull the whole unit
outward. (See Figure 4A).
Rotate the board 90 degrees (See
Figure 4B).
Grab the board's front and pull up
while pushing down the back part

of the ironing board. The legs will
extend outward toward the floor
(See Figure 4C).
With an adjustable wrench, adjust
both ironing board feet to fit
tightly against the floor.
Note: The board should not
move if tightened correctly.
To close, push upward on the
release lever located under the
ironing board while pushing the
board down (See Figure 4D).
Note: To prevent possible
pinching, watch your fingers
during this step.
