Installing the Power Supply Installation Steps Follow these steps to install the power supply into the back of the switch: Remove the power supply slot cover with either a flat-bladed or Torx T-10 screwdriver. Retain the slot cover for future use. C a u t i o n Make sure the AC power is not connected to the power supply being installed before installing the power supply into the switch. - Página 12 Installing the Power Supply Tighten the four screws Figure 4. Fully installed power supply Connect the power cord supplied with the power supply to the power connector, and then into a properly grounded electrical outlet. To provide true redundancy, the second power supply should be connected to a different AC power source from the other supply.

It is powered on when the power cord is connected to the supply and to a power source. Please see the “Installation Cautions” on page Verify the power supply is installed correctly by checking the LEDs on the front of the switch.

If the power source and power cord are OK and this condition persists, the switch power supply may be faulty. Call your HP-authorized LAN dealer, or use the electronic support services from ProCurve to get assistance. See the Customer Support/Warranty booklet supplied with the power supply for more information. -
