Before the use, enter the pulse weight indicated on the final inspection sheet
in the control electronics to which MK325 is connected. Then check the ac-
curacy of the assembled dispensing system and possibly recalculate and re-
enter the pulse weight.
The viewer of the dispensed quantity used on the system to which MK325 is
connected must have at least two decimal digits for reaching the declared
performance.
If the system where the equipment is fitted clearly shows a malfunction-
ing (e.g. locked gears), the flow in the ducts must be immediately stopped
to prevent sudden pressure increases that may damage the measuring
equipment.
If the system is equipped with a bypass line it is recommended to use it in
this situation.
An incorrect installation may result in an early wear of the meter compo-
nents.
If the count is absent, invert the connection channels (channel 1 - channel
2). See chap. 10.2
Once the liter-counter is hydraulically installed as described above, connect
it to the associated management electronics based on the signal character-
istics in paragraph 11.2.
the first functional check is performed using the "K-FACTOR" value (ex-
pressed in liters per pulse) on the test sheet as the impulse weight.
Make different deliveries at different flow rates, within the operating range,
in sample volumes of adequate capacity and resolution by comparing the
value read with that on the display (not supplied).
If the values do not coincide, apply the necessary correction factor to the
K-FACTOR, then repeat the test.
All parts of the system must be in electrical continuity and grounded.
Make sure that the meter is placed in electrical continuity with the system
that must provide adequate grounding.
All the components of the liter-counter are connected equipotentially (in
electrical continuity) to each other. The installer must therefore necessarily
use the system pipes to connect it to the ground. They must be in electrical
continuity with the liter-counter and the entire system must be grounded.
The system is sealed: the device cannot be opened by unauthorized per-
sons or entities. Furthermore, tampering with the instrument before the
calibration performed by the competent authority will invalidate the pre-
examination of the certification body.
The opening of the instrument for any maintenance operation is allowed
only to PIUSI or to personnel authorized by it.
The liter-counter, contained in a cardboard or appropriate material box,
must have the mouths tightened by the appropriate caps.
Follow the storage temperature and humidity indicated in the technical
specifications chapter.
