6 Cup Food Processor
GENERAL INFORMATION
When using the 6 Cup Food Processor, basic safety precautions should be
observed. PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
THE 6 CUP FOOD PROCESSOR.
1.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. The Food
Processor is not intended for use by children.
2.
For indoor household use only.
3.
Unplug the Food Processor from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
4.
To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or Food Processor
base in water or any other liquid.
5.
Do not operate the Food Processor with a damaged cord or plug, or if the Food
Processor malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return the Food
Processor to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or
refund.
6.
Keep hands and utensils out of the Food Processor bowl when in use.
7.
Never use your fingers to push food down the feeder. Always use the food pusher.
8.
Before removing the cover from the bowl, switch off the Food Processor and wait
until the blades or disc come to a complete stop. Do not open the cover until the
blades or disc stop moving.
9.
Do not attempt to defeat the cover interlock mechanism.
10. The blades and discs are extremely sharp and must be handled with care. Always
hold the blade assembly by the stem and the disc holder with the disc by the finger
grip when handling or cleaning.
11. Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They
could constitute a danger to the user and risk damage to the Food Processor.
12. A scraper may be used, but it must only be used when the Food Processor is not
running.
13. Never move the Food Processor by pulling the cord. DO NOT let the electrical cord
hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
14. Place the Food Processor on a flat, level, stable, heat resistant surface when using.
15. Do not place the Food Processor on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a
heated oven.
16. Do not use the Food Processor with a damaged outlet.
17. Make sure hands are dry when plugging in and unplugging the Food Processor.
18. Do not use this Food Processor for other than intended use.
19. This Food Processor is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the
use of the Food Processor by a person responsible for their safety.
