EMPTYING COFFEE CAPSULE DRAWER

The introduction of a new capsule allows the capsule previously used to drop into the holder
drawer 16 (figure 5). This drawer must be emptied regularly and certainly before not more than
25 coffees have been made. After twenty five coffees have been made, the manual coffee icon
will flash 6 , informing the user that the capsule holder drawer 16 must be emptied.

CLEANING STEAM SPOUT

Clean the steam spout 2 with a sponge or damp cloth to remove the traces of milk or other
substances which will inevitably form during normal use of the machine.

CLEANING CAPPUCCINATORE (only version NEW SZ with cappuccinatore)

Remove the cappuccino maker 17 from its housing and clean it with hot water and a neutral
detergent. After cleaning, refit the cappuccino maker in its housing and supply water using the
cappuccino maker by emerging the small suction tube into a container of water. This will clean
the suction tube and the cappuccino maker.

CLEANING CUP SUPPORT AND CAPSULE HOLDER DRAWER

1. Remove drawer 16 from the machine.
2. The drawer and cup support 3 may be washed under running water.
3. Clean the outer parts with a damp cloth, using only water.
4. Replace the drawer inside the machine.
