Turn off power at main fuse/breaker box before beginning installation.
Wiring must meet the National Electrical Code.
This Ceiling Fan & Fixture Support meets or exceeds the requirements of the National Electrical
Code and must be used with hardware supplied to mount outlet box and fan or fixture bracket.
Only use #10 screws to support a ceiling fan. #8 screws are acceptable for fixtures. Intended for
1/2" sheetrock. Included Connector for use with Nonmetallic Cable (type N).

Step 1:

Place the box onto the wooden
ceiling joist and install the small
screw in the center of the hole to
hold it temporarily.
Step 2:
See Figure 2
Pull the wire into the electrical box
through the port(s).
Step 3:
See Figure 3
Use the longer screws provided
to attach the ceiling fan or fixture
bracket.
Step 4:
Follow the installation instructions
provided with the fan or fixture.
