1. Turn the holding lock and open the cap.
2. See fig. 6. Turn the cutting plate anticlockwise. Cover the blades with appropriate
material (rubber, cloth, etc.), slightly raise the plate holding the edges with both hands
and remove it.
In the course of removal of the grate for cutting by straws and cubes, the grate should
not be rotated. Get it out of the slot by moving it upwards.
3. Install the replaceable plate, close the cap and turn the holding lock.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

All maintenance shall be performed on de-energized equipment.
The equipment should not be cleaned using any abrasive materials, pricking and cutting
items, aggressive chlorine-containing detergents, gasoline, acids, alkalies and solvents.
Demountable equipment assemblies should not be washed in a dishwasher.
The following operations shall be performed daily upon completion of work:
1. Wash demountable machine assemblies (pestle, cutting plates, disc-ejector) under a
warm water stream and dry them.
2. See fig. 7. Open the cap, take the lateral retainers aside and remove the cap. Wash the
cap under a warm water stream and dry it.
3. Wipe the case with a clean wet sponge or cloth and wipe it dry. The slot for cutting
plates and the motor shaft shall be cleaned very thoroughly. Otherwise, installation of
the cutting plates will be hindered.
If the equipment is not to be operated for a long time (days off, holidays, etc.), it should
be de-energized and thoroughly cleaned.
