03 | SAFETY HINTS FOR RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Only use high-quality batteries of popular brands. When inserting the battery
please respect the correct polarity (+/-). Please remove battery when device is not
in use for a long period of time. Do not throw the batteries into fire, do not short-
circuit and do not disassemble them. Never charge non-rechargeable batteries –
risk of explosion! Remove leaking batteries from the device immediately. Risk of
battery acid burn! Clean the contacts before inserting fresh batteries. In case of
contact with battery acid, rinse the affected area immediately with water and con-
tact a doctor. Batteries can be dangerous to life if swallowed. Keep batteries away
from small children and pets. Do not dispose of batteries in household waste (see
also chapter "Disposal of Batteries/Accumulators").

06 | OPERATION
Connect the charger with the power adapter (9) using the supplied USB cable (10).
Connect the power adapter with a wall socket. The LED power indicator (1) lights up
red and the charger is in standby mode/operation mode.

06.1 CHARGING 3.6/7.2V BATTERIES
Slide the cover (3) to the back until it clicks into place. Adjust the battery contact
pins (6) to fit the batteries +/- contacts using the slide buttons (5). Press the release
button (4) to close the slide cover and to fix the inserted battery. While charging
the LED charging indicator (2) flashes green. When battery is fully charged, the LED
charging indicator (2) lights up green
the battery and disconnect charger from power supply.
