Beef meatballs stuffed with cheese
Preparation and cooking: approx. 30 min. (small size) / approx. 35 min. (large size)

1¼ lbs Ground beef
8 oz
Italian sausage, mild
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tsp.
Salt
Pepper, to taste
3½ oz Semi-firm cheese, e.g. Cheddar, Asiago
3 ½ oz Breadcrumbs
Canola oil for frying

Makes approx. 24 small meatballs / approx. 8 large meatballs
1. Peel and finely chop the onions. Mix the
ground beef, Italian sausage, mustard and
onion in a bowl and season. Work the mix
by hand until the ingredients form a slightly
dense / compact mass.
2. Cut the cheese into 24 (small size) or 8 (large
size) cubs. Then form and fill the meatballs
with the Filled meatball Maker as shown in
the instructions (see p. 7)
3. Pour the breadcrumbs onto a flat plate. Roll
the meatballs in the breadcrumbs and press
on firmly. Heat a little oil in a non-stick frying
pan. Fry the meatballs portion by portion
from all sides; small size takes approx. 8 min.
/ large size takes approx. 13 min.
Serve with: Tomato salad
