Tertio 55
1. Remove the 2
screws (J) located
at the front and
replace them with
2 HM 5x18 screws
supplied in the bag
of screws.
2. Fit the hearth
onto the fan using
the 4 screws (B).
3. Stand the assembly
upright. Attach the fan unit to
the back of the hearth by
replacing the screws (D).
BAFFLE PLATE
The hearth is fitted with a stainless steel and vermiculite baffle.
This baffle enables efficient heat exchange and helps soot to be
collected when the chimney is swept.
Users should familiarise themselves with how to fit and remove the
baffle plate. Do this several times before using the fireplace for the
first time.

1. Hang the front of the baffle, almost vertically, on the 2
tabs located inside the front of the hearth at the top.
2. Raise the rear of the baffle by sliding it toward the front
of the appliance.
3. Hook the rear of the baffle onto the drain channel.
WARNING! The baffle must not be placed on the
hearth plate, only inside the drain channel.

1. Hang the front of the baffle, almost vertically, on the 2 tabs
located inside the front of the hearth at the top.
2. Raise the rear of the baffle by sliding it toward the front of the
appliance.
3. Rest the 2 slots at the rear of the baffle plate on the 2 screws
located above the hearth plate.
The hearth is ready to have the finishing frame installed (see
optional instructions)
