Start-up
Ensure that the boiler multiple connector is
properly positioned. lt must be pushed fully home.
Remember that if the power supply to the boiler
is to be completely isolated, this connector must
be unplugged (See Fig. 3) as well as the power
supply to the outdoor unit.
Open the front lid to gain access to the control
panel. The green indicator lamp must be 'on'. See
Fig. 4
lf the green lamp does not light up, it means that
no electricity is reaching the boiler. Please check
if any of the safety devices at the mains supply
entering your house are switched off.
Ensure that the Heating circuit pressure is 1.5 bar.
lf fault code 03 is displayed on the screen, it
means that there is not enough pressure in the
Heating circuit. The red lamp will light up. See
Fig.5.
Check if the Central Heating flow and return
valves are in the correct position: they should be
fully open. See Fig. 2.
To increase the pressure in the Heating circuit,
turn the small square handwheel of the filI point
valve (7 Fig. 2) anticlockwise until reaching 1.5
bar. See Fig. 6. Once this pressure has been
reached, close the valve. Then fault code 03 will
disappear from the screen and the red lamp will
'go out'.
Ensure that the boiler circulating pump is running;
otherwise, press a screwdriver against the slot
on the shaft-end and turn it. See Fig. 7.
Ensure that the gas inlet cock to the boiler is
open, See (4) Fig. 3.
Operating Mode
Winter: Central Heating and Domestic
Hot Water
Press this symbol for a moment to programme
the boiler for Central Heating and Domestic Hot
Water. Please note that Domestic Hot Water has
priority over Central Heating. The temperatures
programmed in the boiler memory utility are as
follows: 55 °C for Domestic Hot Water. 80 °C for
Central Heating. lf the orange lamp lights up, it
means that the boiler is working. Then, the
information shown in Fig. 8 will b e displayed on
the screen. The temperature will rise until the
maximum value selected is reached. In the
Heating mode, the boiler will be switched ON if
the room thermostat (optional) is not in demand
position.
Summer: Domestic Hot Water
Press this symbol for a moment to programme
the boiler for Domestic Hot Water only. Then, the
information shown in Fig. 9 will be displayed on
the screen. The temperature will rise until the
maximum value selected is reached.
Stop
Press this symbol for a moment to cancel the
service programmed. See Fig. 10. In this position,
a permanent frost protection feature and pump
seizure system are activated (See section under
"Permanent Monitoring System).
To re-establish the service, either

Operating Temperature
Please note that the factory-set temperatures
(55 °C for Domestic Hot Water, and 80 °C for
Central Heating) may be altered as follows:
Central Heating Mode
Press
for a moment. See Fig. 11. The tempe-
rature digits will immediately flash for 10 seconds.
While the digits are flashing, press
to increase the temperature, or
decrease it. Once the new temperature has been
set, it will be automatically stored. The tempera-
ture range goes from 30 °C to 90 °C.
Domestic Hot Water Mode

rature digits will immediately flash for 10 seconds.
While the digits are flashing, press
to increase the temperature, or
decrease it.
Once the new temperature has been sel, it will
be automatically stored. The temperature range
goes from 40 °C to 60 °C.
Both in the Central Heating or Domestic Hot
Water Mode, press
for 10 seconds to re-esta-
blish the factory-set programme.
Summer: Cooling
Press this symbol for a moment to programme
the generator for Cooling.
While in the Cooling mode, several permanent
controls take place. These may reveal various
fault or breakdown conditions. Please refer to
section under "Cooling Fault Codes".
Cooling OFF
Press this symbol for a moment to cancel
Cooling. In this position, a permanent frost
protection feature and pump seizure system are
activated (See section under "Permanent
Monitoring System").

Cleaning
Boiler Module
To clean the filter in the cold water inlet, proceed
as described below: Close the mains water inlet
(9) Fig. 2. Open a hot water tap to reduce the
pressure. Using a 16-17AF spanner, or an
adjustable spanner, unscrew the cold water inlet
assembly (5) by turning it anti-clockwise. See
Fig. 13.
Remove the filter and clean it. See Fig. 14. After
cleaning it, replace it b y following the operations
in reverse order. Finally, bleed the air that may
have entered the system. To do that, unscrew
the air valve (3) until water starts to come out.
Then, close it. See Fig. 13.
Maintenance
Must be performed once a year by a qualified
service engineer,
Fault Codes
lf the red indicator lamp lights up, it means that
the generator has 'locked out' because of a fault.
Central Heating and Domestic

Press this symbol for 3-5 seconds and the
boiler will attempt to light up again. See Fig. 15. lf
the boiler 'locks out' again, note down the fault
code number and call your installer or nearest

After-Sales Service. However, if the fault code
numbers are: 03, 06, 12, 14 or 17, first check the
following:
03 : This means that there is not enough
pressure in the Heating circuit. Check the
pressure and make it up by opening the filI point
valve (7) Fig.2 until reaching 1.5 bar. The boiler
will start up automatically.
06 ó 14 : There may be air pockets in the
Heating
circuit. Ensure that the air valve cap (ll) is open
if you wish
(See Fi . 16). lf the fault code were number 14,

These are the fault codes that may appear on
the screen of the control panel when the
generator is on Cooling mode: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6.
Whenever any of these fault codes is displayed,
please call your nearest After-Sales Service.
Permanent Monitoring System
When the generator is left on 'Stand-by' (Fig. 10),
and regardless of any other conventional
safeties, a permanent protection system will
operate, providing the following services:
Boiler Module
Anti-sekure protection
Every 6 hours the pump is activated for 15
seconds.
Anti-inertia
Following every Central Heating and/or DHW
cycle, the pump continues to run for a short
period of time.
.
Frost protection feature
lf the temperature of the Heating Circuit drops to
7° C, the pump is turned ON until the temperature
rises to 9° C.
Super frost protection feature
lf the temperature of the Heating Circuit drops to
5 °C in extreme weather conditions, the
programme activates not only the pump but also
the ignition system, at minimum output.
The burners will go out after 30 minutes or when
the temperacure rises to 35 °C.
Chilled Water Module
Anti-seizure protection
lf the Chilled Water Pump is stopped for 8 hours,
it will start to run for-30 seco&.
Frost Protection Feature
Where the circuits are independent, that is, one
for Heating (radiators) and another for Cooling
(fan-coils), íf the water temperature rises to 3°C,
the pump will run until the temperature reaches
5 °C.
Recommendations
The peel-off film which protects the control fascia
should be removed. lt is advisable to call a qualified
service engineer for the following operations:
– Generator start-up.
– Adjustments.
lf the generator receives no electrical supply,
the "Permanent Monitoring System" will not be
activated.
