Clearing Errors

Error Indicators

Errors are indicated in the top display line [24] by
means of code numbers. At the same time, the dis­
play [2] is switched to a red background.
Code No. Cause
E01
The left-hand sensor for counting the
bank notes is soiled or damaged.
E02
The right-hand sensor for counting the
bank notes is soiled or damaged.
E03
The code disk is soiled, loose or dam­
aged.
E04
The sensor in the infeed tray [3] is soiled
or damaged.
E05
The sensor in the output tray [6] is soiled
or damaged.
E0A
The ambient light is too bright or con­
tains UV components.
bF
The infeed rollers rotate but do not draw
any bank notes in.

A frequent source of errors is soiling of the sen­
sors (see Cleaning the Sensors). Following the
instructions provided under "Solution".
Solution
Clean the sensor.
If the error continues to occur, refer to the informa­
tion in Chapter "Warranty".
Refer to the information in Chapter "Warranty".

Dim the ambient light or switch off the ambient light.
Press the RESET button [18] and repeat the count­
ing function.
If the error continues to occur, refer to the informa­
tion in Chapter "Adjusting the Pressure of the Infeed
Rollers".
