Use or working environment:

surface which is rigid, flat and stable and
free from vibrations, avoiding any contact
between the weighing area and walls or
other objects. Otherwise, it will not show the
correct weight.

- Do not force the appliance's work

Battery Placement
- Caution: Do not touch both poles at the
same time, during battery placement as
this will cause a partial discharge of stored
energy and so affect longevity.
- Remove the battery compartment lid.
- Check that the plastic battery protection
covering has been removed (some
batteries are sold with a protective
covering).
- Put the battery in its compartment, and
check the polarity (Fig. 1).
- Close the battery compartment lid.
