Important Safety Instructions:

These instructions are provided for your safety. It is very important that they are read carefully and completely before
beginning the assembly and installation of this ceiling fan.
•
We strongly recommend that a professional electrician install all direct wire fixtures.
•
THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODES BY A
PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE HAZARDS
INVOLVED.
•
It must be connected only to 3-wire, single-phase electrical supply systems (provided with Ground wire or equivalent
protection system).
•
For your safety, it is strongly recommended that two people install the ceiling fan.
•
The DC fan input is 120VAC 60Hz 23W, the light kit input is 120VAC 60Hz 16W.
•
The ceiling fan is intended for indoor or protected/covered outdoor areas. Do not expose to direct rainfall. SUITABLE
FOR DAMP LOCATIONS.
•
Make sure all electrical connections comply with Local Codes or Ordinances, the National Electrical Code and
ANSI/NFPA 70-1999. If you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring or if the house/building wires are different colors than
those referred to in the instructions, please use a qualified electrician.
•
Make sure you have a location selected for your fan that allows clear space for the blades to rotate, and at least seven
(7) feet (2.13 meters) of clearance between the floor and the fan blade tips. The fan should be mounted so that the tips
of the blades are at least thirty (30) inches (76 centimeters) from walls or other upright structures.
•

Support of 15.9 kg (35 lbs) or less," and use the mounting screws provided with the outlet box. Most outlet boxes
commonly used for the support of lighting fixtures are not acceptable for fan support and may need to be replaced.
Consult a qualified electrician if in doubt.

The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision. Young children should
be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
•
Read and save these instructions.
WARNING:

To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, please use the provided remote to control the ceiling fan. do not use
this fan with any solid-state speed control device or control fan speed with a full range dimmer switch. [Using a full
range dimmer switch to control fan speed will cause a loud humming noise from fan.]
Do not operate the reverse switch until the fan has come to a complete stop.

Do not insert anything between the fan blades while they are rotating.
To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend the blade arms during assembly or after installation. Do not insert

objects into the path of the blades.
