Quick Assembly
Lift the chain up by the inner chain, pull backwards over the tire
1
and distribute evenly to cover the whole tire.
Drive onto the chain by approx. ¼ of a wheel's turn.
2
Complete the mounting process as outlined in points 3 to 6 (see
"Mounting" below).
Mounting
Spread out the anti-skid chains left or right of the tire tread and
1
arrange them neatly (depending on the space, the chains may
have to be bunched together). Tension lever and tension chain
must face outwards! Place mounting cable at an angle across
the top half of the tire. Hook anti-skid chain into mounting hooks.
Drive slowly onto the chain to complete one full turn of the
2
wheel. This will pull the chain onto the tire. Loosen the mounting
hooks of the mounting cable on the anti-skid chain. Remove the
mounting cable.
Connect the side chain on the inside of the wheel first and
3
attach the closure hook to the ring and then hook it to the
outside of the tire.
Note: Please ensure that the strands of the chain are not
twisted!
Connect the attachment links for the tread net.
4
Tighten tension chain on the outside of the wheel and insert
5
tension lever into the nearest link of the tension chain. Secure
tension lever with the ring. Hang the loose chain end into the
side chain using the desposting hook.
The chain is now fully assembled.
6
Note: After driving a short distance (approx. 50 – 100 m / 150 – 300 ft.)
stop the vehicle and re-check the tightness and fitting of the traction
chain on the tire. Re-tighten the chain if necessary.
