2.3 Precautions during the maintenance operations

• Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual quali-
fications.
• Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a service mechanic.
• Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the tool.
• Only service mechanics are authorized to inactivate the safety devices provided on the tool when maintenance is to be
performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the tool. The safety devices should be activated as soon as
maintenance work has been completed.
• Before performing any maintenance procedures or adjustments to the tool, disconnect the air supply hose.
• All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Authorised Service
Points.
• When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the tool can be started again only if duly authorized by the service
mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
- the work has been completed;
- the tool runs in a trouble-free manner;
- the safety devices are activated;
- no one is working on the tool.

3.1 Product identification

The details used to identify the tool are stamped on the nameplate.

3.2 Product description

The bush-cutter has been designed for the green area maintenance. For grass cutting and edging works it is provided with a reel
with nylon cord (6). A brush disc (7) is supplied for cleaning ditches, hilly ground, under fruit/grapevines foliage, wind-break
bushes, river bank slopes, etc.
The tool is powered by a pneumatic motor (9), fitted as a natural extension of the fixed or telescopic extension pole. The com-
pressed air is conveyed by means of an air hose. The tool is started by a trigger (3) fitted in an ergonomic handle. The trigger is
provided with a safety catch (1) which gets inserted automatically when the trigger is released.
The extension pole is provided with a second handle (5) which is used with the second hand for excellent handiness using the
bush-cutter. The tool is equipped with a reel (6) with nylon cord and a disc (7) with 80 teeth.
WARNING!
If the bush cutter is not used for the purposes indicated above, it can get damaged or cause serious injury to people.
