GB Switchable Master Slave Multiple Outlet Socket, incl. overload
protection, surge protection and ground control
Thank you for the purchase decision of EPLS 10ALU MS. This Master Slave
Multiple Outlet Socket will help you to operate up to 5 devices with only one
Master device. It will also help you to decrease your power costs.
Please read before start-up of EPLS 10ALU MS this instruction manual really
carefully, in order to exclude possible damage by wrong installation.

Security instructions:
- Do not connect after each other
- Do not cover when in use
- To disconnect the voltage pull the plug
- If the warning light shines, the surge protection is ready for use
Installation and operation:
Please connect the EPLS 10ALU MS with the outlet socket of your house / apartement. If it is
planned to mount the EPLS 10ALU MS e.g. on a wall please finish the assembling first. The
function – LED for surge protection (3) and ground protection (5) will start shining which shows
the correct function of the multi socket. Specify a device (TV, Hifi plant, PC or similar with a
current consumption >8W) as master equipment. Connect this device with the Master outlet
socket (7). Please make sure that the switch (11) position is done by "Automatic". If this stands
on "manual", then you switch enterprise for Master/Slave mode to "Automatic".
After that the Slave devices can be attached to the remaining 5 slave outlet sockets. Switch
now the Master device and Slave devices on to adjust the switching threshold. Switch now the
master equipment off. If the Slave devices switches off as well, the switching threshold is
optimally adjusted. Otherwise please use a screw driver to adjust the switching threshold by
the controller(6) manual down up to the slave devices will shut down. The Master-Slave Outlet
Socket is now ready for use.
