The conversion should be carried out by a qualified fitter.
1. Close off the gas supply.
2. Remove the casing.
If the right-hand side of the appliance is not easily accessible:

4. Pull the heater away from the wall.
Changing the components:
STYLE 3, 4, 5
1. Pilot jet (fig. 9, page 61 / fig. 10, page 61)
Unscrew the coupling nut (7) at the end of the pilot-light
hose; pull the hose with the ring clamp out of the pilot
burner and remove the pilot jet. Fit the new pilot jet and
tighten the coupling nut on the pilot-light hose firmly.

2. Main jet (fig. 9, page 61)
Unscrew the coupling nut (6) around the jet. Unscrew the
coupling nut in the gas control block (5) a few turns as well.
Now pull the gas pipe out of the jet and turn it away from
the jet. Using an open-ended spanner, unscrew the elbow
pipe and the jet from the burner; remove the jet from the
elbow pipe and fit the new jet. Reconnect the components
in reverse order.

2. Main jet (fig. 10, page 61)
Unscrew the coupling nut (6) around the jet. Unscrew the
coupling nut in the gas control block (5) a few turns as well.
Now pull the gas pipe out of the jet and turn it away from
the jet. Using an open-ended spanner, unscrew the jet from
the burner and fit the new jet. Reconnect the components
in reverse order.

3. Fine-adjustment jet (fig. 9, page 61)
Poke the top, with the name Junkers on it, out of the cover
of the gas-control block. Remove the cover of the gas-
control block by unscrewing the screw (1). Now remove the
fine-adjustment jet (3) at the top of the gas-control block.
Fit the new fine-adjustment jet and tighten firmly. Replace
the cover.

3. Fine-adjustment jet (fig. 10, page 61)
Remove the cover of the gas-control block by unscrewing
the screw (1). Now remove the fine-adjustment jet (3)
on the right of the gas-control block. Fit the new fine-
adjustment jet and tighten firmly.
Replace the cover.

4. Adjusting the burner pressure
For conversion to propane gas or natural gas, the burner
pressure is adjusted with the pressure regulating screw (2) as
table, (pag. 56).

Reconnect the gas pipe to the heater and turn on the supply
of new gas.
There is a point of pressure measurement on the gas-
control block, which enables you to check the burner
pressure easily with a manometer. Undo the screw at
the point of pressure measurement (4) and connect the
manometer.

Turn the burner off again, remove the manometer and
tighten the screw at the point of pressure measurement.
Replace the casing over the heater.
