GAUGE ADJUSTMENT FEATURE
This unit includes a small screwdriver, which allows the gauge to be adjusted and set to zero
when the needle is not within the zero square position.
Gauge out of zero square
position
1. Remove the cuff and tubing from the air stem on the
underside of the gauge, Fig 1.
2. Carefully insert the small screwdriver into the stem until
resistance is felt; slowly turn the screwdriver, you will feel
the screwdriver connect with the grooves in the
adjustment mechanism in the clock, Fig 2.
3. Slowly turn the screwdriver again while observing the
needle on the gauge face. Turn until the needle has
returned to the center of the zero square.
4. Remove the screwdriver and reattach the coil tubing to
the air stem.
Resetting the needle to the zero position does not guarantee
that the gauge is properly calibrated. Calibration can only be
con rmed when a gauge is calibrated against a calibrated
mercury column, however, wall-clock gauges are commonly
accurately calibrated when the needle is at zero.
