OPERATING ISSUE
If the sealer stops sealing and the sealing light does
not come on.
For models with cutter: If the cutter is not cutting smoothly.
For models with cutter: If cutter is cutting the teflon tape.
TIPS:
1.
Always keep sealing platform clean.
2. Do not use water to clean sealing platform.
3. Check bottom teflon tape for wear each time you
replace heating element or teflon cover. Wear may
cause a short circuit.

RECOMMENDATIONS
The arm may not be activating the microswitch.
1.
Unplug unit.
2.
Unscrew rubber foot screws to remove bottom.
3.
Turn sealer upside down, and press down to see if
activation screw extends to activate red microswitch
button. You should hear a "click" (see photo).
4.
If it does not "click", extend activation screw
approximately 1/16 to 1/8".
5.
Continue to adjust and test until you hear a "click".
The blade may still have the protective wax coating on it.
1.
Remove cutter (see photo).
2.
Completely remove wax coating (you do not have
to pull blade from bracket).
3.
Replace cutter through slot near knob. The arrow
on the bracket has to point away from slot.
1.
Loosen hinge pin screws that connect sealing arm
and sealer base (see photo).
2.
Gently push sealer arm to the right to realign
cutter.
3.
Tighten hinge pin screws and test to ensure it lines
up with "cutting well".
4. Periodically check rubber pressure pad under handle
for wear. A worn pad reduces quality of seal.
5. Only use ULINE replacement parts and service kits.
