Servicing
It is assumed that you have read and under-
stood the chapter entitled “Safety and Dan-
gers”.
Cleaning and servicing work, as well as removal of
the safety equipment, must only be performed
while the drive is switched off and the engine is at
a standstill. The spark plug socket must be pulled
off.
After cleaning, all parts must be lubricated as
shown in the Servicing Schedule.
Regularly check nuts and bolts for tight fit.
When topping up the expansion vessel, great care
must be taken to avoid spilling hydraulic oil.
No repairs must be carried out on the hydrostatic
axle.
If the Mondo is not used for longer than 2 months,
we recommend emptying the carburettor on the
petrol engine and the petrol tank. This will avoid
deposits in the fuel system.
Always charge the battery fully.
The battery loses a little of its charge on each day
that the machine is not in use. Its should be
charge before use or every two month.

6.1 Operating faults

Engine does not respond:
• Dead man’s handle is not pressed down.
• Petrol tank is empty, or petrol is too old.
• Fuel line is clogged.
• Spark plug socket is not on the spark plug.
• Spark plug is faulty.
• Choke is in the wrong position.
Engine runs, but mower does not drive:
• Check the setting of the freewheel lever.
Power take-off shaft does not turn:
• Fully release the brake lever.
Starter does not rotate
• Recharge battery with charging appliance
