1. Switch off the appliance using the on/off switch (Fig. 4ⓑ).
2. Remove the two screws at the blade set and remove the

When assembling, the bottom blade and the top blade should
be aligned as follows:

1. Set the cutting length adjustment to the position „short"
(Fig. 5ⓐ).
2. Place the top blade with the guide groove on the wedge-

shaped plastic guide (Fig. 9ⓐ) so that the drive pin
(Fig. 9ⓑ) engages in the engaging device cutout on the

top blade.
3. Place the bottom blade with the guide groove at the side
of the slide spring (Fig. 10ⓐ) and press the bottom blade

against the slide spring (Fig. 10ⓑ). Press the bottom blade
downwards (Fig. 10ⓒ). Let the bottom blade snap into the

groove.
4. Reinsert the two screws (Fig. 8)
5. Before tightening the screws, align the bottom blade

mains socket.
f Check the mains cable for possible damage.
