4.5 Installation on a nursing bed with battery

SafeLift and SafeSense
The installation of SafeLift on a bed with battery and Quadromat 7 is identical to the instal-
lation with SafeSense
frame and the cable is routed to the motor. The handset is inserted into the SafeLift Box. This
in turn is plugged into the SafeSense
SafeLift and SafeSense
The battery has no influence on the installation of SafeLift on care beds with Duomat 9.

4.6 Attaching the controller to the handrail

The controller can be attached to any handrail as follows, as required:
To attach it:
Press the release button and slide the controller onto the handrail from the side.
To remove it:
Press the release button and pull the controller off the handrail.
Attention!
After attaching/removing the controller, shake to ensure that the side guard is prop-
erly engaged. The correct engagement can also be visually inspected: The yellow
locking buttons in the locking recess of the telescope mechanism must be recog-
nizable on both sides.
