2 Adaptor for commercial

INTENDED USE
This tool is used to check / adjust the angle between the windshield wiper arm and the
windshield. It is suitable for all hook style wiper arms (not for new aero style arms) and it`s to be
used as VAG OEM 3358A, for example.
IMPORTANT
•
Remove the ignition key after placing the windscreen wipers in the setting position to
prevent accidental activation of the wiper motor.
•
Observe to the manufacturer's specifications when adjusting.
•
Use the tool only for its intended purpose
USE
1 Angle scale with pointer (±15 Degree)
2 Clamping screw
3 Open end spanner 24 mm
4 Wiper arm
Front wiper
Move windscreen wiper arms to setting position.
Switch off the ignition and remove the ignition key.
Disassemble windscreen wiper blade.
Fix wiper arm with clamping screw.
Use an open-end spanner to adjust the wiper arm to the values
specified by the manufacturer.
Rear wiper
Move the windscreen wipers into setting position,
Observe the height (1), see workshop manual.
Disassemble wiper blade.
Fix wiper arm with clamping screw.
Use an open-end spanner to adjust the wiper arm to the values
specified by the manufacturer.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and
packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is
compatible with the environment.
