BOXX2 – Radio-controlled alarm clock with indoor climate
8.1.1 DCF reception
• By default, the DCF reception is activated (DCF ON) and after successful reception of the DCF signal no manual adjust-
ment is necessary.
• Once the DCF time reception is deactivated (DCF OFF) the clock and the date must be manually set. No time zone will
appear.
• If the DCF reception is activated, the manually set time will be overwritten by the DCF time when the signal is received
successfully.
8.1.2 Time zone setting
• In the setting mode you can make the time zone correction
• The time zone correction is needed for countries where the DCF signal can be received but the time zone is different from
the DCF time (e.g. +1=one hour plus).
8.1.3 Setting of the snooze interval
• You can set the snooze interval (5, 10 or 15 minutes) in the setting mode.
8.1.4 Setting of the optional display
• In the setting mode you can choose whether the year, the calendar week or the seconds are displayed next to the date.

8.2 Alarm clock function
8.2.1 Alarm time setting
• Press the ALARM button in normal mode to enter the alarm setting mode.
• 6:00 (default) or the last adjusted alarm time 1 appears on the display. The hour digits flash.
• Press the ▲ or ▼ button to set the hours.
• Confirm the setting with the ALARM button.
• Press the ▲ or ▼ button to set the minutes.
• Confirm the setting with the ALARM button.
• 7:30 (default) or the last adjusted alarm time 2 appears on the display. The hour digits flash.
• Alarm 2 can be adjusted in the same way.
8.2.2 Activate and deactivate the alarm
• To activate alarm 1 and / or 2, slide the respective ALARM switch forwards. When the alarm is activated, the alarm time
appears in the upper (ALARM 1) or lower display (ALARM 2).
• To deactivate alarm 1 and / or 2, slide the respective ALARM switch backwards. When the alarm is deactivated, OFF
appears in the upper (ALARM 1) or lower display (ALARM 2).
