OPERATION
1.Confirm the speed control button is set to "Min".
Grasp the tool by the grip. Press the on/off switch
on the hub. Your switch is locked off to prevent
accidental starting. Depress lock off button then
trigger and release lock off button. (See Fig. C,D)
Note: The rotary cutter operates at a constant RPM.
The speed control button is not effective. The speed
control is designed to work with other MakerX tools
such the Rotary Tool or Angle Grinder.
NOTE: Thin materials, such as fabrics, can be pulled
into the tool during cutting and become wedged.

Therefore, do not apply too much pressure with these
materials in order to achieve good cutting results.

During cutting, apply sufficient tension while holding
fabrics and cut slowly.(See Fig. E)
NOTE: The red line on the blade guard (cutting-line
mark) indicates the cutting line of the blade.This
allows for precise guiding of the machine following the
cutting line marked on the material.
2.Release trigger and press the on/off switch on the
hub to turn off after use.
3.When changing the blade:

You must insert an object (such as a nail or paper
clip) into the spindle slot to lock in place.

Rotate blade screw counter clockwise with a slot tip
screwdriver and remove the blade screw.

Slide the blade away from the guard and remove
blade.

Slide new blade under the guard with beveled
edges facing you.

Align hole in blade with hole in the blade shaft,
replace the screw loosely. Lock the spindle by
placing an object into the spindle slot. Rotating
clockwise, tighten the screw securely. (See Fig. F,G)
MAINTENANCE
Remove the battery before carrying out any adjust-
ment, servicing or maintenance.
There are no user serviceable parts in your power tool.
Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your
power tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Always store your
power tool in a dry place. Keep the motor ventilation slots
clean. Keep all working controls free of dust. Occasion-
ally you may see sparks through the ventilation slots.
This is normal and will not damage your power tool. Store
the accessories in a dry place.
FOR BATTERY TOOLS
The ambient temperature range for the use and
storage of tool and battery is 0°C-45°C.
The recommended ambient temperature range for the
charging system during charging is 0°C-40°C.
