• Always wear goggles and protective gloves when working with the
chainsaw.
• To avoid injuries, wear tight fitting clothes and security boots.
• To avoid damages to your ears, wear earflaps. Helmet with visor
are highly recommended.
• Make sure that you have a firm position when working with the
chainsaw.
• Keep the work place clean.
• To prevent an electric shock, avoid contact with parts not earthed.
• Always remove the cable from the plug before adjusting the
chainsaw.
• Only manipulate the chainsaw when it is unplugged.
• Only one person should use the machine at the same time. The rest
of the people have to be away from the working area. Particularly
children and animals always must be away from the chainsaw. At
least at a distance of 15 m.
• The cutting chain should not make contact with anything when
functioning.
• Firmly hold the chainsaw with both hands when using it.
• Children and young people should not use the chainsaw, with the
exception of people over 16, they can use it under supervision as
part of their training. Lend the chainsaw only to people that are
familiarized with this type of machine and know how to use it. When
you lend the chainsaw, always lend the instruction manual.
• Make sure that the chainsaw is always kept away in an inaccessible
place for children.
• Do not use the chainsaw when you are tired, ill, upset, or if you
under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
• Do not expose the chainsaw to the rain or bad weather. Make sure
there is enough light in the working area. Do not use electric tools
near flammable liquids or gases.
• If you do not use the chainsaw for a while, keep it in a safe place so
no other person is in danger.
• Remove the chainsaw from the wood with the chain still working.
Never use the chainsaw on staircase, trees or in any unstable place.
Do not saw with only one hand.
• The electric cable must always be behind the user.
• The electric cable must always be directed away from the back of
the chainsaw.
• Use only original accessories.
• When using a chainsaw in an outdoor area you should connect it to
an earth plug.
• Do not overload the chainsaw. It works better and safer in the
